Below are profiles of the two stars of the K-Pop Sensation
Kang Gary was a core member of the SBS TV program “Running Man”. With his own adorkable & warm personality, he successfully attracted numerous people
as his fans, and also established a high popularity in oversea. Kang Gary is absolutely a very well-known singer-songwriter. In 2016, he chose to leave from
“Running Man” and focused on his own music development. He is also a member of the HIP HOP duo “Leessang”, and released many albums for the duo and himself.
On 21 Sep 2015, he released the first personal full album “2002”. The title track “Get Some Air” entered into local music chart during the Chinese mid-autumn Festival, and then topped the Melon chart quickly. In addition, the song of “Lonely Night” topped five Korean well-known charts. Last year, Gary released the first Chinese single “Mei Guan Xi” 《沒關係》. The first day of the release already topped the bestseller list, and the first week sales already exceeded 200,000 units.
Jessica Sooyoun Jung
Sweet & charming Jessica Sooyoun Jung was scouted by SM Entertainment to be a trainee when she went home to see family in Korea in 2000. In August 2007. She made her official debut as a member of the girl group Girls’ Generation – after a longer training period than any of her fellow groupmates.
In the past decade, Jessica participated in numerous musicals and movies as an actress, such as “Legally Blonde” and “Wild Romance”. She was even the received the Popularity Award in 7th The Musical Awards, by “Legally Blonde”. What’s more, Jessica appeared in the reality show “Jessica & Krystal” in 2014 and came out with her own brand BLANC&ECLARE.
In the same year, she left Girls’ Generation to start a solo career. In January 28, 2015, Jessica’s PR representatives in Hong Kong announced the termination of her contract with SM. After she left SM, she appeared as a celebrity guest on the mainland Chinese variety show “Yes ! Coach” on Shanghai Dragon TV as well as the reality show “Chef Nic” on Zhejiang TV.
On March 2 in the same year, Jessica signed a new contract with Coridel Entertainment and 新湃海润, and released her first solo album “With Love, J”. On December 10, she released the mini follow-up album “Wonderland”. Jessica is simply unstoppable in her entertainment career.
